Spring 2: Conner & Avery

Welcome back to Drama Llama! Last time with Conner and Avery, Avery took several trips to Selvadorada, Carter and Cain became children, and Beth and Ben became the first teens of Drama Llama.

Conner’s first order of business is making a cake.

Cause it’s birthday time for Ella and

Eli!

I then took a break for awhile, and when I came back I decided to get rid my CC hair colours since it was messing with hair colour genetics and sometimes sims (especially toddlers and children) would just change their hair colour randomly. So this means that a lot of these guys will end up with new hair colours!

Eli now has red hair and now has the traits Music Lover and Gregarious. His aspiration is Musical Genius.

Ella is now a Bro (another one) and Domestic. Her aspiration is Lady of the Knits.

Here’s a close up of Ella and Eli, they don’t seem to strongly resemble either of their parents.

Here’s Conner, with Ben in the background sporting their new red hair (Beth has it now too).

Avery got the teal coloured hair.

Carter and Cain got this hair colour too, but I had to changed their hair styles (since I didn’t have recolours for their old ones). I tried to keep their hair styles similar to their old ones.

The kids all have homework to do, so they all get started on that.

Ella finishes early and gets started on her knitting!

I bought Eli an adult violin for his aspiration, though things aren’t going so well for him right now judging by his face.

Carter then started going through a phase… Not that they currently own a radio.

Conner and Avery are still in love with each other, even after all their kids.

Carter: “Ew, can you not do that here? I’m trying to watch tv!”

Conner and Avery are both Active sims, so I have to send them on jogs every once in awhile to keep them happy.

And now Cain is going through a phase.

Avery is off on another trip to Selvadorada.

Avery is able to rule out most of the triggers, so she’s been a lot more successful about this stuff this time around.

Avery: “Look at all these bowls.”

Avery: “Let’s add something to this one!”

Avery: “Ooo, pretty lights.”

This temple has a lot of greenery scattered through it.

I think this is the first wrong guess Avery had all day, and she even managed to avoid the consequences.

And the temple is finished!

The kids finished school so I switched back to them. It’s funny they didn’t take home any projects, I think it’s cause I was with Avery in Selvadorada when they came home.

This is Eli’s first time with the other Drama Llama kids since becoming a teenager. Megan (and Grant as well) now have black hair, Rosa (and Serena and Brendan) have light blonde hair.

Max got the light pink hair.

Finn doesn’t have to change his hair colour, but he’s one of my favourite Drama Llama kids.

Really Beth? A selfie while you do homework??

Rosa spends most of her time outside with her sisters.

Avery is still in Selvadorada, she does some excavating.

She managed to finish another totem! I think she needs to use five of these or something for her aspiration (she currently has two).

Beth and Eli are only half-siblings, but you can clearly tell they’re related.
Ella: “Yeah, yeah. I’m the odd one out, cause I got my colouring from my mother.”

Here’s Grant with his new black hair! He just randomly stopped by for a visit.

Avery is still in Selvadorada, she’s been surviving off of food from food stalls and quick meals.
Avery: “I don’t cook.”

She goes to the museum to uncover and authenticate some artifacts.

Ben may like to pick on his siblings, but he’s actually quite close with most of them (his not really close to Carter or Cain).

This is where I changed Conner’s aspiration to Painter Extraordinaire, with all the kids, and the traveling needed for Avery’s aspiration, I don’t think I can complete both of them. I’ll have to try his original one some other time.

Cain’s actually getting through the mental aspiration far faster than Eli did, he’s on the last milestone now.

Uh, Avery, YOU LIVE WITH YOUR SON!!

Avery returned from Selvadorada a few moments later, she’s got lots of stuff to uncover and authenticate.

The lights got turned off for power conservation, so Conner is forced to paint in the dark.

Cain: “I love school!”
Ben: “Geez aren’t you a nerdy twerp. I bet you are the perfect teacher’s pet like some kind of loser!”
Carter: “HEY! You’re being mean Ben!”
Ben: “Like I care!”

Ben was in a really bad mood after school, so he went to jog off his emotions or whatever it’s called.

Beth has been skilling up her logic, for her aspiration and for school (she needs to get a skill to level 3 for an A).

Cain finished the mental aspiration and is now working on the creative one.

It was Love Day, so Conner and Avery went on a date!

They decided to go to the art gallery in San Myshuno. It seems an alien was also there.

They spent some time looking at paintings (unfortunately this didn’t seem to count for his aspiration, which was the reason they went to a museum!).

I also discovered that the museum had an upstairs area!

Avery, the alien wasn’t even in disguise!

After they got back, Conner and Avery took the entire family out for dinner! This is my first time doing this.

Avery requests a table.

The family ended up being split between two tables.

Ben: “I can’t believe I got dragged into this.”
Carter: “Ooo, they have colouring mats!”

Eli: “This looks like it might be interesting.”

Avery then called the waiter over and ordered for the table.

Also Eli apparently got bored enough to do homework at the restaurant.

And they finally got their meals! (It’s 10pm, they arrived at 4pm it took 6 HOURS for them to get their food)

Everyone was exhausted when they came home.

Luckily there was no school the next day.

Everyone took their time and worked on their skills and aspirations.

And here’s the first look you get of Serena with her new hair.

Cain! Don’t you have an aspiration to work on?

He then has a good time playing with Sarah and Sasha.

Carter now has the motor aspiration, so he was down the street playing on the monkey bars.

Eli and Ben have a radio in there room (for Eli’s aspiration), and it quickly turned into a dance party.

Um, WHAT? Wait, Agatha Crumplebottom… Isn’t it supposed to be Agnes Crumplebottom? Okay, I just did some googling and apparently in Sims 4 Agnes lives with her cousin Agatha.
