Welcome back to Drama Llama! It’s been a bit since I last posted on this blog, but I’ve been busy with my last term of school. In other news this blog has been nominated for Best Rotational Hood on Boolprop! Thanks to everyone that has voted and/or nominated this blog! Anyways, last time Megan completed her aspiration and, Snuggles had puppies.
Megan has moved with Honey, Chiquito, and Butter to Strangerville!
She’s in one of the pre-built houses.
Megan takes Chiquito for a run.
Then the welcome wagon shows up…
All three dogs seem rather skittish of Megan’s new neighbours.
Megan: “Um, hello?”
None of her neighbours seemed to respond to any of her attempts to talk to them.
One of them even planted something in her planter boxes!
Megan is starting to suspect that there is something weird going on in this town.
There are all of these strange plants growing everywhere. Megan may have never been to the desert before, but she’s never seen a plant like this!
After the Welcome Wagon left, some women in suits claiming to be the government show up.
They take her refrigerator! What infection are they talking about?
And why are they warning her away from the lab?
They even left a note in her kitchen! Something is definitely wrong in this town.
Megan heads to the library to talk to some locals.
The librarian tells her that the military has been unusually active.
And there is that Science Lab again.
She talks to a scientist.
Who’s apparently been studying those strange plants.
But why are they also looking at the archives?
Next she checks out this weird road-side stall. The guy seemed really cagey.
She bought something hoping it would call him down a bit.
She gets home to Butter drinking out of the toilet. Megan still has to teach her not to do things like that!
She then takes Honey and Butter for their walks.
The next day she checks out the lab everyone was going on about.
Megan: “This place is a mess, does anyone even work here?”
Megan: “This door seems oddly high-tech for a place like this.”
She needs a keycard to get in though.
She rummages through some of the papers left laying around.
She finds even more of those strange plants.
She swears that something is growing inside it.
Next Megan checks out the archives.
Why would a plumber have satellite technology?
Oddly enough, Megan finds that there’s a new librarian. She wonders what happened to the old one.
She also mentions the plants.
Megan: “What happened to the old librarian?”
New Librarian: “Doesn’t matter. I just know there was an opening. Stop asking so many questions!”
She talks to some more scientists and finds out that the lab has been closed ever since an explosion happened there.
Megan decides to plant a bug she picked up at the curio shop on one of them.
She goes home to listen in.
What do space rocks have to do with everything going on here?
Megan gets an odd phone call, it’s probably a prank, but the timing is odd.
She goes to the bar where she plants some bugs on military personel.
She makes sure to get a drink so she doesn’t look too suspicious.
Back at home, she listens in.
The military is definitely covering up something strange at the crater.
She talks to the Curio Stall guy, and it turns out he has a key card!
Megan: “Now to see if this thing works.”
Megan: “And that’s not odd at all.”
Megan: “They were clearly studying the plants here.”
Megan wonders into a hallway and comes down with a coughing fit.
Megan got out and collapsed.
That’s not good.
Megan can’t really remember what happened next, but her head felt real fuzzy for awhile.
When she gets out she finds that the plants have grown!
One even produces a strange fruit.
The sky seems to have gone a funny colour. Megan is worried that she let something out when she opened that door.
She confronts a low level military person about the spores in that lab.
She mentions something about a scanner.
She manages to convince her to give her the scanner.
Megan starts scanning around town.
She finds some spores.
Megan has decided to take a break from the investigation and takes Butter to the dog park.
She has fun meeting all the other dogs there.
She comes home to something strange growing out of the toilet.
It takes ages for her to clean it up.
Cain gives Megan a call and it looks like Cain might be engaged next time we see him!
Megan continues to scan for spores.
Huh, it turns out elder dogs can still have puppies.
Chiquito is the father of Honey’s puppies.
As usual Honey gets dirty pretty quickly.
Megan gives her a bath only to discover that there are more plants growing out of the toilet!
Honey gives birth to two puppies, both boys! One is called Mocha, he’s Independent, Active, and Hairy. The other is Dusty, he’s Playful and Hairy.
Grant ended up inviting her out to the Spice Festival.
Megan tries the spicy curry challenge.
But it doesn’t go well.
When she gets home Honey passes away. This is my first pet death in this game and the notification is so sad!!!
Aw Honey.
The Grim Reaper shows up.
And her grave now sits in the yard.
When Megan goes back to the library, the old librarian was back!
Megan: “Where did you go?”
Librarian: “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Megan needs a filter to get to get past the odd hallway, so she decided to talk to a scientist.
Looks like Megan needs to analyze some spores to make one.
Megan invites Noel Tye a fellow conspiracy theorist over.
Megan asks about what she knows.
It turns out theat Noel needed a place to stay, so Megan offers her the couch.
Noel is thankful and helps out by taking Butter for a walk.
That’s all for now, one of the puppies, Mocha goes to live with Cain. Next time we’ll be with Max!
