Spring 3: Beth

Welcome back to Drama Llama! Last time with Beth, her and Mao got married and had 2 daughters Hazel and Mia.

Between last time and now, Beth and Mao have moved out and no longer live with Ben and Celene, the two of them now live in a pre-built house in Brindleton Bay. They also adopted a puppy Maya from Megan. I’m only realizing now that there is a Maya and a Mia in this household…

Anyways, here’s the house!

The main floor with the girl’s bedroom.

And the top floor.

Mia and Hazel are quick to explore their new surroundings.

This guy shows up as the sole member of the welcome wagon. Beth invites him in.

While Mao keeps him entertained.

Beth has still got skills to work on for her aspiration.

But soon infant care takes a priority.

Mao is still working on writing her books, she’s got several children’s books, but she’s slowly moving onto other genres.

COME ON! The girls just got put down for a nap and Maya walks in and wakes them up. I ended up locking Maya out of their room.

Hazel in particular seems to like Maya a lot, she’s always trying to say hi to her.

Aw, it looks like Mia had a blowout.

Mao gives her a bath once she wakes up.

Beth is outside and a ghost comes by randomly???

Soon it’s birthday time for the girls!

Mia is now Wild, she also got Top-Notch Infant.

Hazel is now a Charmer and she also got Top-Notch Infant.

Mao starts on potty training.

While Beth converts the cribs into toddler beds.

Once she’s done Beth joins in on the potty training too.

After potty training, Beth has got a couple little shadows following her around.

These two cuties are enjoying the dinner Beth made for them.

Maya for some reason becomes obsessed with the toilet.

And then she ages up to look exactly like Snuggles.

Beth takes her for a jog…

And Maya gets sprayed by a skunk!

Cool! Mao’s book got nominated for an award… Too bad they won’t be able to go to the award ceremony, I’ll be with Ben on Sunday.

Beth is working on her guitar skill, so her little shadows are watching to get their Imagination up.

Mao takes breaks between her book writing to play with the girls.

THIS DOESN’T SOUND FAMILIAR AT ALL… For those that don’t know, this nightmare was a fairly common glitch in Sims 3.

Beth is working on her wellness skill, she has to get 8 skills to level 8.

Maya gets plenty of attention, but she’s glitched so she’s never happy. She just stands around and does nothing all the time.

Everyone’s pretty sad that Maya’s gone, so Beth is working extra hard to cheer the girls up.

But it doesn’t take long for Maya to return!

Mao makes sure to greet her.

And then give Maya a bath, which also caused a glitch because Maya was never getting clean. I ended up using MCCC to cheat her motives up.

It’s been a very rainy Spring in Brindleton Bay…

But now that it’s sunny, the girls can finally play outside! (Under Beth’s watchful eyes of course.)

It’s Love Day, so Beth and Mao send the girls to daycare while they go out on a date!

The two of them head out for dinner at Chez Llama for dinner.

And it looks like they’re not the only couple there.

They order some wine and food.

This is their first real dinner without kids for awhile, I think they enjoyed it.

Up until the rampaging werewolf turned up.

And Mao got food poisoning. I didn’t even now this could happen!

On the plus side, leaving the lot seems to have fixed Maya’s glitch!

Maya will actually be happy about these jogs now.

It’s another sunny day, so the girls spend some more time outside!

They both manage to max all of their skills with 2 days of toddlerhood to spare!

These kids are so cute!

Mia even tries to mimic Maya and looks all sad when Maya just looks at her.

The family then takes a trip to the beach for the day.

The girls have fun splashing around.

Beth goes swimming around.

While Mao tans and keeps and eye on the girls.

There was also a celebrity at the beach which lead to a lot of people freaking out and fainting.

The celebrity did say hi to Maya at some point though.

After her swim, Beth helps the girls build some sand castles.

Mao got a tan from all her laying in the sun.

They come home to a broken toilet which Maya gets herself dirty playing in the water… I guess she’s going to need a bath now.
